The agricultural school of Rethel (EPL08) is a public sector school, with three learning centres and a technical centre:

• the “lycee” which is devoted to scolar initial learning with 260 students from 14 years old to 21 years old; their diploma are in three sectors : general sector (scientific) baccalaureat, technological baccalaureat and vocational baccalaureat (about farming and agriculture) ; therefore a BTS is about piloting farms
• the “CFA” is specialised in apprenticeship where 125 students from 14 to 18 years old, half time in school, half time in their entreprise, are learning agriculture, horse and farm animal breeding.
• the CFPPA is our adult learning center where are done 350 000h in sectors as wide as agriculture, personal care, administrative staff, “second chance school” and unemployed person guidance.

The Lycée d’Enseignement Général Technologique Agricole de RETHEL celebrated in October 1991 a century of agricultural education, dedication to training and education of many generations.
